i have a question i did not get any feed back for on another site.
what to these people who gave decades working for free in bethel when they are 60 plus years old.
I always felt like a piss-on being in the Borg in comparison to pioneers,, ministerial servants eldubs or elders wives or whoever......circuit overseers & their wives whoever.....
Maybe its because of my practical approach to life. Like that of having a job with benefits,, mortgage & I pay my own utilities & bills.
Unlike some others who have had all these things done for them. Then left high & dry later in life when they are no longer of use & left for the dogs.

Think of it for a second. There are rumblings of even more reduced meetings.
They can sell the assembly halls & have the congregations share one local KH.
Have one meeting per week per congregation. That way if there are several congregations in an area they can have a meeting everyday if there are several congregations in that area.
Its just a business.

when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .

when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .
I think the Borg has had themselves bitten in the ass a few times too many.
Now by producing videos about not putting a "date'' on things.
Perhaps they have learned from this as evident by producing such videos.
We have a situation where they created the problem and provide the solution.

Thats because religions hate being caught in a ""lie"". They finagle their way through it.
